Privacy Policy

• Account information — email address, display name, and optionally your city, province, and avatar.
• Listing content — everything you type into a listing plus the photos and video you upload.
• Messages — the conversations you have with other users on the platform.
• Technical data — basic log and device information needed to run the site securely.

To publish your listings, let buyers and sellers reach each other, keep your account secure, respond to support requests, investigate reports and fraud, and send transactional email such as message notifications and listing expiry reminders.

Anything in an active listing is public, including your display name, city, and province. Your email address is never shown on a listing — buyers reach you through in-platform messaging. Your messages are visible only to you, the other participant, and our moderators when investigating a report.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run the platform on our behalf — hosting, database and file storage, authentication, email delivery, and payment processing — and where the law requires it.

We receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google to create your account. We never get access to your Google password or any other Google data.

Listings stay until you delete them or they expire. Messages are kept while your account is open so both parties keep their history. When you close your account we remove your profile and listings; limited records may be retained where needed for fraud prevention, accounting, or legal obligations.

We use cookies and similar local storage strictly to keep you signed in and to remember an in-progress listing draft. We do not run advertising trackers.

You can view and update your profile from your account page, delete your listings at any time, and request a copy or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. We respond to access and deletion requests within 30 days, in line with Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA).

Data is stored on managed Canadian-accessible cloud infrastructure, encrypted in transit, with photos and videos kept in private storage served through expiring links. No system is perfectly secure — if you spot a vulnerability, please report it through the contact page.
